Some basic things for you to know:
- Your personal and startup profiles (name, image, social media links, and descriptions) is PUBLIC and accessible over the open internet.
- Your email address is protected so you don’t get spammed. We will not sell your email address. We will not share your email address with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, protect our rights, or with other members of the site you explicitly authorize us to share your information with.
- You can hide/show your personal and your startup profiles so it does not appear on the site/search engines any more.
- Although, we do not access your messages as a matter of course, they are NOT considered private or 100% confidential from our system administrators. Our administrators may intentionally or unintentionally review your messages for purposes of debugging, complying with laws etc.
Like most website operators, T4S collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. T4S's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how T4S's visitors use its website. From time to time, T4S may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
T4S also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in and logged out users on T4S.com . T4S only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to T4S's websites choose to interact with T4S in ways that require T4S to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that T4S gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for T4S.com to provide their LinkedIn information. Those who engage in transactions with T4S– are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, T4S collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with T4S. T4S does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
T4S discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on T4S's behalf or to provide services available at T4S's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using T4S's websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. T4S will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, T4S discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when T4S believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of T4S, third parties or the public at large.
If you are a registered user of an T4S website and have supplied your email address, T4S may send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with T4S and our products. We primarily use our product blog and emails to communicate this type of information, and we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. T4S takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
If T4S, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that T4S goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of T4S may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
Messages and other content submitted to T4S are saved on our servers using indunstry standard safety technology and procedures, including but not limited to encryption, anonymization, etc.
We do not read our users messages as a matter of course, but please do NOT consider messages on the system as 100% confidential or private from our system administrators. We reserve the right to review messages for a variety of reasons such as another user flagging a message as spam, abuse, misleading, or other innapropriate use our our messaging service.We read anonymized messages to verify and police bad behavior in order to keep T4S a safe, friendly place. We may also review messages while debugging or investigating web site issues.
